Diddington Pit: Nearest village; 2 med gulls (only gulls on the whole lake), black-necked grebe, 2 redshanks, 3 dunlin, 2 ringed plovers. Lots of coots. Water level dropping.

Northern Pits: 2 Little Egrets, 2 Buzzards, 2 juvenile Peregrines, 3 Hobbies (2 adults, 1 juvenile), Greenshank, 6 Reed Warblers, 3 Whitethroats, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, Spotted Flycatcher.

Northern Pits: 6 Little Egrets, Buzzard, 4 Hobbies (2 adults, 2 juveniles), 3 Ringed Plover, 9 Dunlin, 2 Snipe, 3 Whimbrel (flew south), Greenshank, 4 Green Sandpipers, Common Sandpiper, 5 Yellow-legged Gulls, Swift, 200 Sand Martins, 20 House Martins, Whitethroat.
