Northern Pits: GREAT WHITE EGRET on Pumphouse Pit mid-afternoon, then flew south; also adult Caspian Gull on new workings, 2 Pintail, 7 Little Egrets, juv Ruff, 3 juv Dunlin, juv Ringed Plover, Common Sandpiper, 7+ Snipe, 2 Rock Pipits, Marsh Tit, 1+ Redpoll over.
