Meadow trail: Lesser Emperor dragonfly seen patrolling the north end of the meadow between 17:15-17:35. Also at least 5 Six-belted Clearwings to lure around Bird's Foot Trefoil between the boardwalk and visitors' centre late morning.

Heronry Trail: Hobby, 5 Turtle Doves crooing around the trail (there are others near the sailing lake). 2 Foxes and many butterflies and bees on the blackberry flowers. Mainly Red Admiral, Small Skipper, Comma, Meadow Brown and Ringlet. Don't forget to check for Essex Skipper here.
